FWWW.org is still a very very simple website, but there is more complexity behind the scenes!

Yes it feels weird to host a "self-hosted" initiative on a Cloud VPS (it's in Finland with Hetzner) BUT... the reality is that for better reliability and availability we needed to have this hosted in a way that help fostering collaboration.

The "self hosting" element is mostly concerned in giving anyone the ability to replicate this stack on a bare metal computer with very limited knowledge, bandwidth and computational power.

The main aim of FWWW.org is to enable YOU (ANYONE!) to publish a modern website without any "Cloud" cost, only the cost of a small PC an internet connection and electricity.

Also, freeing up my Raspberry 5 will allows me to experiment with replicating this stack locally once we are ready to have it published on Codeberg.

So, for now, be patient, keep back checking this space, hoping will soon have more updates!
